CHEF
My first mosaic. I employed several mosaic techniques here including intaglio and intensely close clipping on the chef’s neck kerchief.
29 3/4” x 18”
‘58 SHASTA
I love vintage trailers and always wanted a 50s Shasta because of the wing feature of the design. This is the way I finally got one.
12 1/2” x 10 1/2” with frame
10 1/8” x 8” without frame
GALAXY VASE
This 3-dimensional piece is built on a thrift store vase. LED battery lights make it a lamp that gives a soft night time glow.
10” x 8”
ABSTRACT
Just a small work with an abstract composition. I used glass I had in small amounts laying around my studio.
7 3/4” x 9 3/4” with frame
7” x 9” without frame

HERE SPOT
Love that dog. Arf-Arf-Arf. Inspired by a folk art coloring book I came across. Lots of movement in that sky.
19 1/2” x 16 3/4” with frame
14” x 11” without frame
PURPLE CHANDELIER
The base for this was a junked chandelier I bought for 61 cents at a salvage yard. Let myself go commando creative and get as much reflective glass going as I could. Ripped out the electric wires and use little LED candles in the glass cups. Not grouted.
Medium sized chandelier

UKELELE
Imagine the music that could come out of this magical instrument. It proves that there is no such thing as too many rhinestones.
19 1/2 “ x 6”
WHAT THE CIRcUS PONIES SEE
An abstract where I purposefully used bright primary colors as much as possible. The ponies were a broken figurine a friend donated to my cause.

NEW HORIZONS
This piece is dedicated to the New Horizons far outer space explorer and to Brian May, one of the NASA astrophysicists who calculated the algorithms and other space guy math stuff that sent New Horizons to the universe and beyond. May is, incidentally, lead guitarist for Queen and knew Freddie Mercury personally.
18” x 15” with frame
14” x 11” without frame
LUV EEE
One of a 10-piece series of china cats, Luv Eee is made with Japanese lusterware. The flowers are precise-clipped from an old tea cup, which gives them a three dimensional effect.

GYPSY
Got interested in Gypsy caravan wagons and decided I would use fabric and art in our trailer to make it seem like a Gypsy wagon inside. This piece features tarot cards, a palm to read, dangling earrings and other symbols that seemed Gypsy-like.
15 1/2” x 18 3/4” with frame
11” x 14” without frame
HAWAIIAN SHIRT
(SOLD)
MOTHER, IS THAT YOU?
Blame it on a magnifying mirror. I looked in one and that close-up of my face made me realize my facial wrinkles and other damage age brings looked exactly like my mother’s.
13 3/4” x 13” x 2”
FAIRY DUST
Love fairies. Even had a cat named Fairy Fay. So I gave this ballerina image wings and sprinkled sparkling fairy dust all around.
1’ x 1’

LADY MIRROR
I found this lady’s head years ago at a yard sale and always knew I would use it in a mosaic. Also had the oval mirror kicking around for a good while. Pairing them in a big frame was kismet.
29” x 35” with frame
22” x 28” without frame
‘57 CHEVY
Always wanted a turquoise ‘57 Chevy. This is how I got one. The mirror works pretty well as chrome.

FISH VASE
MARY MOSAIC - NEED PROPER NAME
Wanted to create a neighborhood of cute buildings and realized that if I had windows, I needed whimsical or weird people and objects looking out the windows. Sorry about Melania and Stephen Miller.

THERE I FIXED IT
This souvenir plate fell off its shelf and smashed in several chunks. I told my sister I would fix the thing. So there, I fixed it.
